In the fall of 1990 Glenn and Diane Gales bought the old Tom's Store and G&D Market was born. The store flourished until 2001 when tragedy struck and the store burned down. Glenn and Diane were determined to not give up on their dream and the store was rebuilt and re-opened in the summer of 2002. Since then the store has seen many changes and additions including a full carry-out pizza menu, expanded deli offerings with many grab and go items, daily specials including hot lunch and dinner items and a full catering menu available for pick up or delivery, with on-site setup and tear down available. G&D's Market is now under the leadership of Glenn and Diane's oldest son Chad. Under Chad's management the store has thrived and seen growth in sales and offerings and is looking forward to the future in this community and serving their patrons with even more offerings and new and exciting menu options.
